Awake for no reason

Salaam all... whoever is out there... Feel like I made this blog to talk to myself lol. So new to it, only made it yesterday because I came across some marriage and Islam blog and thought 'ooh lets see whats blogging about' and I got reeled in slowly but surely, one of those things I guess where you get hyped up about it and spend ridiculous amounts of time getting into it when you should be doing more important things and then it just dies down. But what the hey its something new :)
I was scheduled to sleep around 12 and wow its late now! lol. Argh now I'm thinking I have so much to do, why have I not started any lecture reading?? Ah well that can wait...
Anyway...
Had a reallyyy good day today alhamdulillah. Letting go for the sake of Allah and putting your trust in Him can be hard but with faith you can get through anything. And today, what I left yesterday came back, and now everything is as smooth as stroking newly laid plaster. My trust is with Allah, my peace and happiness is with Allah and He has opened so many doors for me, hence why Im doing what Im doing and getting involved with Islamic things here and there, its all from Him.

Hadith of the Day- "..Be mindful of Allah, you will find Him before you. Get to know Allah in prosperity and He will know you in adversity. Know that what has passed you by was not going to befall you; and that what has befallen you was not going to pass you by. And know that victory comes with patience, relief with affliction, and ease with hardship." [al-Tirmidhi]... Oh and i <3 this 1- "Indeed amazing are the affairs of a believer ! They are all for his benefit; If he is granted ease of living he is thankful; and this is best for him. And if he is afflicted with a hardship, he perseveres; and this is best for him."

I find such peace and comfort in these things, knowing everything happens for a reason and knowing Allah is ALWAYS with me. hmmmm :) such a contented feeling I can't even explain.
Oh i forgot! I was meant to listen to an Islamic talk by Zahir Mahmood, could have listened to it while I was doing this, but never mind I'll listen to some of it now :) going to be awakening late i guess...one thing to end this deep night post-
Blesses to be a Muslimah :) x

  2. Assalamu Alaikum,

I remember when I first started blogging; I just finished my placement at University and I thought I'd make use of my contemplation time. I was writing and writing lots in order to find some more answers. It then hit me . . . even if I could help one person it would be worth it.

I now have problems keeping up with the emails I receive hehe ^.^

Alhamdulillah - When you find that medium of where most things in life become a means to achieve something and your reliance in Allah raises - such a wonderful feelings. Letting your heart and imaan fill with Islam is a feeling I could never live without. Crucial to keep a good balance in life to ensure that never happens.

It's easter time anyhow, late nights are sooo justified for us students. Which reminds me, I have to get crackin on with my dissertation!

Nice blog and keep it up!

  4. Salaam,

    Don't get rid of it.

Trust me. Looking back at your posts will demonstrate how much you've progressed in your life. It will also help recall events.

Looking back at my first few entries, I look at myself and think: Seriously, what was I thinking to even consider someone like that? Point being, our life is filled with experiences like these.

A blog is a such an awesome indicator to see how well or far you've come along in your thoughts. Stick with - It's definitely rewarding :)

Oh and don't worry about followers, there are a lot of lurker out there reading!

  6. Marhaba ^_^

    Soul's got a point there...

A good reason for you to be keeping your blog is the fact that it will do good, if not to others, then it's to you.

Despite that the majority of my blog is a bunch of incoherent rambling lol it's done me a great deal of good, and I got an email from a sister who has a whole lot in common with me, and she tells me that it's like I'm speaking for her. So there you go!

Basically, when I blog, I mainly do it to get the dust out of my head so I could move on... try to ask yourself, now that you've been here-for a week maybe?- why do you log on? how do you feel after you've logged out and shared what you've shared? and so on...

Ok, now I'm rambling on here too!! >////<

Salam and take care and keep sharing ^_^
